WHAT ARE WE DOING?

The Windows Server Support group will be decommissioning the legacy Windows fermi-wprt print server.

WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?

The Windows legacy print server, fermi-wprt, will be retired on Monday, June 3 at 8:00 a.m.

WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?

There should be no disruption of service for the vast majority of users because they have already been migrated to the new fermi-wprtb print server.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

If you are using fermi-wprt as your print server and do not know how to switch to using fermi-wprtb, please contact the Service Desk for assistance. Information about configuring your computer to use the new wptrb print server is also available at http://www-css.fnal.gov/csi/win-prtb/#addprinter.
