How to Update your bookmarks in your browser

Internet Explorer 8:

  1. Select the Favorites menu from the menu bar

.


*NOTE: If Favorites is not visible, right click in any of the empty grey space below the address bar. Select Menu bar from the context menu that appears

2. Hover the mouse over the invalid bookmark.

3. Click the right mouse button on the bookmark.

4. Select Properties from the bottom of the context menu that appears.

*NOTE: If the invalid bookmark is on your Favorites bar, you will find it within the Favorites Bar submenu in the Favorites menu.

 

5. Select the Web Document tab.

6. -Update the URL field to the correct address.

 

7. Click Apply.

8. Click OK.

 


 

Internet Explorer 9

 1. Select the Favorites menu from the menu bar.

Google Chrome

 

 

1. Click the menu button (It has three small solid grey vertical bars on it) n the right of the address bar.

 

2. Select Bookmarks.

3. Hover the mouse over the invalid bookmark.

4. Click the right mouse button, and select Edit from the context menu that appears.

5. Type the new URL in the URL field to the correct address.

 

6. Click Save.

 

 


 

 

 

Firefox

 

1. Click the Display your bookmarks button to the right of the search bar.

2. Hover the mouse over the invalid bookmark.

3. Click the right mouse button, and select Properties from the context menu that appears.

4. Type the new URL in the Location field to the correct address.

5. Click Save.
